Born on the mainland and partially raised internationally, Margarette earned a bachelor degree of fine arts – summa laude from the University of California, San Diego, where she minored in Art & Law, Art History, and Polynesian art and culture. She has been a licensed contractor for 16 years; has earned a LEED (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) Associate Partner and Turner School of Construction Management certifications; is an American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) partner; has write-ups in popular design books like Hawaiian Home Now, magazines, and newspapers; and has been a licensed real estate agent for 9 years.
